Hotel De Castiglione Paris, Paris

Although there were some issues with room readiness and refunds, the hotel provided a nice view of Paris, had very helpful staff, and a great location, making us consider a return visit.

My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms were lovely, but looked a little outdated and shabby for the location, giving a somewhat 'triste' feel. The service was a mix of kindness with moments of misery, especially when staff spoke disrespectfully amongst each other. The location was good and central, allowing easy access to exclusive shopping areas in Paris, although only being close to the Louvre. The dining experience was not the best, but better than some other places in France, unfortunately a bit unorganized and pricey. Facilities were decent, catering to basic needs.

The hotel is ideally located for exploring Paris, close to many tourist attractions, but the rooms appear old and outdated. The service was good, with some helpful staff members. The breakfast quality was subpar, and the facilities were average.

Upon my arrival at this hotel around 3 p.m., I found the rooms to be below average with a strong damp smell and presence of bed bugs. The atmosphere was not welcoming as renovations were ongoing, causing noise and dust. However, the compensation of a complimentary breakfast was a thoughtful gesture despite the room not being ready.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were a good size with an awesome view of the Eiffel Tower from our big terrace, which was a good start, but they fell slightly under my expectations. The location was perfect, right in the middle of all the best parts of Paris and close to the metro, making it easy to reach anywhere I needed to go. The dining options were good, although I had to queue every day and felt there could have been more choices available. In all, a stay with ups and downs but a satisfactory experience overall.

It was spacious, cosy, and beautifully located on the 8th floor with a good size balcony and a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. However, the dining experience was not good and very unorganized.

I was really excited about the twin room but unfortunately, it wasn't available when I arrived at 6 pm. The hotel has a spacious walk-in closet and a large bathroom with a full tub and separate shower, but the decor could be a little more modern.
